We LOVE Sky's. Food in phenomenal! Seriously delicious! Drinks are amazing. Seriously delicious! Service is fantastic! .. But. When a customer walks in and requests by name a particular server, I don't care if that server has tables available, give that customer the server they requested! Wasn't offered the opportunity to wait for requested server, was just shown to a table. I am very disappointed and although our server was great, I am actually upset enough that it will be awhile until we return.
The restaurant was busy, lighting was terrible. I was there for a business meeting. I found the staff friendly. With that being said, the meal was over priced. Drink prices about $10.00 average (comparable places are about $8.00). Most of the group had prime rib. Everyone found the steak tough and tasteless and not hot. At $75.00 a plate (not including drinks), I thought it would be much better. Service was slow, however we had a group of 15 people.
Sky's is a top notch restaurant, it has the best food in town. The Vegan Plate is incredible and their fish specials are always amazing. I love the staff and the atmosphere, they somehow always know just want you need and are very professional. They are also family friendly and also offer seating that lends itself to great conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
Food was good.....once we got it. 30 minutes to get our first drink, then another 10 minutes to get appetizer, 15 more to get soup and salads ordered second drink, got second drink AFTER we were done eating entrée which came 30 minutes after salad and soup. For what we paid totally not worth the time from start to finish. Especially when people seated next to us AFTER us, we're served there meal BEFORE we got ours. Will not be returning nor recommending.
I come here very often and it's excellent every single time. The service is the best in town, hands down. Ethan, Dom, Tony, and Devin are GREAT servers! They'll take excellent care of you. Pat and Richie make the best drinks in town, no questions asked, and are very flexible so if you want to alter your drink order they have zero issues with it and actually take it on as a challenge. Sky's recently added the Sunday brunch and Oh My Goodness is it good. Prices are very reasonable, varied menu, and they make excellent breakfast inspired drinks. The best restaurant in town just got that much better. If you haven't been go. If you go often, go more! They deserve the business. 5 stars out of 5. I'd give them a 6 if it was possible
