Food is always hot and fresh. I normally go fairly basic with 3 Hard Shells and 3 Cheese Tostadas! I love me some Red Pepper! I have 3 young daughters (youngest is 5mo old) My 5yo and 3yo love the Grinders! We typically dine during normal business hours and always receive great service!
The service was good and the employees were friendly. However, as a first time customer I had no idea that there was different options for the sauce. They were not offered to me when I placed my order for delivery over the phone. I had no idea how spicy the sauce is. It ended up being $20 worth of food in the garbage. You really shouldn't assume I am a returning customer who is aware of the different options.
They weren't delivering because their driver didn't show up so I ordered carry out, they didnt give me the whole order and they messed up what they did give me. Very disappointing.
Of course the Red Pepper deserves a 5 star rating! The food, atmosphere, staff, owners, and of course the hilarious but honest replies to google reviews, never disappoint!
I'm not a person to complain. But when you say you close at 130 and you walk in at 115 and get denied service because the doors were locked, it's going to frustrate you. And when you try and tell the two little girl workers that you were there before then and they keep saying no? I'm sorry but that's piss poor customer service. "Our owner told us to close then" is not an excuse. I understand you want to get out of there early, but this is no way to treat a regular, well tipping, on time customer the way that I was treated. I would like to speak to the managers themselves so they can agree if that's what their workers were saying. I would like to hear from the owners or "managers" myself.
