The food is very good, the portions are very generous, and everything is very reasonable as far as cost is concerned. I like that they are locally owned and family operated. A great place to dine.
I eat here quite often, and the food is always excellent, with generous portion sizes. The service is just the right amount of present. They don't hover and become pesty, checking on you every 5 minutes, but they're not absent either. They are always very polite, and professional. I highly recommend the China Garden over any of the buffet style restaurants in Grand Forks.
Decent American Chinese. I've only had take out and it's been mostly good-looking sometimes really good- but inconsistent. Overall I like it but I'm a sucker for this type of food.
I was craving Chinese, stopped in and ordered take out. It took no time at all for my order to be prepared, and the food was fabulous as it always has been! Their lunch plate specials are great too! Great value for the money, also!
You're not going to find much in the way of Chinese food in North Dakota. That being said this place is the best I've found so far in the state. Compared to other places it's just okay, but they do give complimentary soup which is a nice touch. The staff are very nice.
