Great hotel! Nice beds, great linens. Housekeeping staff on the ball. The desk staff was not always pleasant. Wonderful water park and arcade, nice restaurants, attached to Alerus Center so there is something for everyone. Easy to get to right off the interstate. I only have 4 stars because we had a 4 night stay and the desk staff was mostly cranky but everything else great and we will visit again!
We stay here every year during summer. It's always been a very positive experience. We love taking our kids to the water park and they always have a blast. The rooms are clean and booking with a family package gets you so much value that you're pretty much getting the room for free. You get water park passes included as well as a free pizza every night and some tokens for the arcade. In this last visit we also got a free breakfast every morning at Altos. The on-site restaurants are really good. Tavern United and El Bistro are excellent and have good food at reasonable prices. All in all an excellent Hotel and I would highly recommend staying here to anybody, especially if you have children who like to swim and go on waterslides.
They were under staffed the entire time we were here. The staff that was here did their best but it was awful for all of the guests here. Over New Years weekend and they closed the bars at midnight. The breakfast buffet was a joke, only four things to pick from and not one time did a waiter approach us throughout our meal and we ended up seating ourselves clearly due to there being no staff in there. We had two different rooms in two days and both times we had to wait hours past check in time to get into our rooms. This wasn’t a good experience to say the least.
Great hotel rooms! Very impressed with the upkeep of the common areas. The rooms are clean and beautiful. If you can afford it, splurge on the suites on the top floors. They're amazing!
Was not worth the price. Too many beer bottles in the pool and hot tubs!! Drunk adults not watching thier children.had to change room three times! First room was filthy second room the toilet did not work
