Very cheep place to stay. I came to visit my brother-in-law here. He was working for a construction company that was in Grand Forks for a short time. He found the place preferable to camping. I thought the room seemed clean although the bedding and furniture was mismatched. The outside of the buildings look like there falling apart. The staff was drunk and belligerent. I would not recommend.
This is really good economy place to stay. The rooms are clean and smells good. I travel for work and stay at alot of different places each year. This is one of the nicer places I've been this year. The owners are kinda weird and ride around room a dozen times a day but whatever.
Room was clean..manager owner got rid of the riff raff..stay in a ton of hotels and this may be my favorite! Can't beat the price or the grounds!! Going to be very busy with pilot cars!! Best $38 I've spent!
I used to love this place till our last visit. I work as a contractor, and live out of a suitcase at least 7 months out of the year, and I never seen such poor managment in my life! Ive never had to call the police on a manager before, and on 3 seperate occasions, I had to call them. How would you feel if your manager shows up at 3:30 am, drunk as a skunk, with someone that has a sterio blasting loud enough to rattle your windows, and litterly threatons my wife when asked to keep it down after a shouting match in the parking lot with her 2 maintenece workers who also stay drunk? Never again I stay there. If you want a nice and quiet place, spend $5 more, and go to Americas Best off of 42nd street. The Wifi works, and the cable is far better, and even the doors close with no evidence of ever being kicked in. I cant say that for the Budget!
We absolutely loved this place! Leanne is an awesome, kind, and helpful new manager. Everything worked as it should, the room is spacious and just funky enough in decor to make it a better stay than your average chain motel. The bathroom is tiny, but everything worked. We loved being able to sit outside of our room and enjoy the quiet. The grounds are lovely if you want to poke around. The pool is heated, so don't be afraid to take a dip early or late when the temperatures dip in the early and late summer. The weekly rate cannot be beat! We paid $30 a night for a terrific stay. Leanne is one of the reasons we fell in love with Grand Forks. We will definitely return as long as she is there.
