They gave me a test and I got prenatals to start out with. She was very pleasant and I go back in a few weeks because I'm too early for an ultrasound. I would definitely recommend going here. Yes, this is a religious place. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
I was comfortable there. They were very informative. I did not feel judged or shameful! I guess that depends on the person! I went on to their earn while you learn program and was able to provide needs for my children! I have no shame so i cannot be shamed. My own family would have judged me harshly. They were really honest and i thank them for that!keeping a child regardless of what others think is a beautiful thing!i dont thonk i would have done so well for my children if it wasnt for them! As a human being you have the free will to take or leave information. As you see fit. Do not blame someone else for your choices. Own them and be proud of the decisions you made!
After all that I was allowed to pee in a cup, then we sat around and talked more about my bad life decisions before the time was up and they checked the results. It was a negative result, and they sent me on my heathen ways with 6 pamphlets expounding on the dangers of pre-marital sex, life without Jesus, and co-habitation.
I came to this clinic because they advertised they offered free pregnancy testing and a calm, comforting atmosphere. I soon found out this bordered on false advertising. *Before* I was allowed to take the test, I had to sit down with two women in a cozy little room and discuss how my fiancee must not love me very much if he wanted sex before marriage, how I shouldn't have to lower myself like that to keep his love. Then we moved on to how shameful and sinful it was to co-habitate, how God had a better plan, and did I accept God's love in my heart? When I explained very politely that I wasn't Christian and didn't care to know more, they were very dismissive and rude, one woman's lip actually curled like I was dirty. They made me sit through this horribly inaccurate and downright misleading movie about how abortion will make me want to commit suicide if I don't die on the table first.
Women, beware going to this clinic. By all appearances it seems friendly, but the judgment is laid on thick here. Before I even took a pregnancy test at the clinic the "nurse" asked me inappropriate questions like 'whose the babies father?' then laughed the question off as if she made the mistake to ask it. The "nurse" gave me misinformation on abortion, told be I could not obtain one in the early first trimester, which is a lie. Without my consent she force me to watch a video which laid on guilt for those open to the option of abortion. When the test came back positive the "nurse" was incredibly flippant and judgmental. I couldn't believe it! The pamphlets she gave me were filled with gross misinformation and scare tactics. Women, avoid this fake clinic!

I have never seen so much puritanical self-serving politics crammed down a woman's throat in the name of free health services. Save yourself the time and effort and head to one of the other women's clinics in Grand Forks. One in particular offers a sliding-scale fee so if you really can't afford it, you won't pay a dime.
