I used to enjoy shopping here but it has diminished very quickly. The employees today were making comments about some items for example.. "ugh..just hideous. We are NOT taking those". Are there not guidelines you all follow for customers bringing in clothing to sell? Or is it to the taste of your employees?
There needs to be a change here. New management.. something.
If you are willing to spend the time they have some pretty great items in here and if you like them on Facebook you can get a heads up on their clearance days. They usually have 2 a year, one in January for fall/winter clothes and another in June for summer clothes. I just purchased 52 really nice items for $80!!! You just have to have a good hour of time to spend to filter through all of the clothing. Also a TON of baby clothing almost all in perfect shape since babies don't tend to wear the clothing very long before they move up in size. Outside of the clearance I'll shop there a few times a year but I hit it hard during the sales. Also I read some of the previous reviews and saw a lot of complaints about the employees but all of my experience have been great so I think those people must be gone. That being said I've never sold to them but I've heard you don't get much for what you bring. If the alternative is you giving the stuff away for free, better to be SOMETHING for it but you might make more at a garage sale.
Was just at this store and it was the worst shopping experience my family has ever had. There was an employee with tattoos yelling at the other emloyees very rudely from across the store complaining about going home. The. Every time we even pulled something to look at it or the size they were like could you make sure that goes back in the same spot. It's very hard to look at things when someone's constantly judging you and telling you to do things. Would highly recommend looking into new employees because this girl had terrible people skills!!!!!!!
They also have terrible customer service skills because they spent the whole time helping customers check out... while only talking to each other.
Love this place for so many children's selections. Friendly staff always willing to help out.
Back to the guidelines of what you buy in from customers drop offs... stains was definitely on that list. For I have sold items to this store before. While going through the racks of winter coats today I had picked out 4 that I quickly put back due to stains. Also another for a missing button that was priced at $14.
Very confusing here. I would suggest to potential customers.. that you may have a more pleasant shopping experience elsewhere. Thrift stores have more quality items for cheaper cost AND you can donate your items there as well.
If you're willing to dig you'll find some great things. Problems arise when there's simply too much stuff on the racks makes it unnavigable. Sometimes you really have to be patient with the stock as it seems some size ranges and items are never in stock or leave really quickly. It helps to buy items at the beginning of the season as that's when they start to accept clothes for THAT season.
