A tire on my rental started leaking air as there was a foreign object sticking out of it. It happened on a Saturday and I called Hertz immediately but there was no answer. I was a mile from a tire shop so I had it fixed immediately for $20. I spoke with Hertz today and was told they will not reimburse me.
This location of Hertz has always had the car I reserved, clean and available per my request. The employees are pleasant and helpful.

I had only been gone one day before I had noticed my vehicle had been towed from their parking lot. No one had told me I couldn't park there or even asked me if I was leaving my vehicle there. Both Avis and Enterprise both ask you if you are leaving a vehicle and they will point out designated parking for leaving a vehicle over night. It is an out of town rental place for me and I don't know anyone who could have given me a ride. I am now out $210 and they said that they couldn't do anything about it. Never going to rent from them again.
I travel for a living and have always used Enterprise but gave Hertz a chance. Lesson learned, never use Hertz, Enterprise next time!
