What had happened was instead of transferring my services like I had requested, they just turned on an additional service and were charging me for both places.... I never received compensation for their mistake... just an apology and they canceled the services at my previous residence....

It's now 32 hours later.... no internet... no phone call... nothing....

So... my internet hasn't been working... I called the midco help line and they couldn't figure It out over the phone.... dude was really nice and told me that they would send a tech out by 7 p.m. or within 24 hours, he reassured me that they have to respond to the request within 24 hours....

This isn't my first issue with midco either, when I moved to emerado, I had called and had them transfer services... a guy even came over to hook up my internet for me in my new house ..

I wish we had more options for internet in this area, because if we did I can assure you that midco would go out of business

2 months later I received a bill for almost 200$ and a threatening email saying they are going to cancel my services....

Terrible. Wish I could give it negative stars. I pay for the faster service and even that doesn’t work. It will stop working all the time, taking at least 8 hours to start working again. I’ve tried restarting it and resetting it multiple times with no luck. Absolutely horrible service.

Midco employees are currently digging a trench in my back yard without asking and turned off my internet that is overpriced and works sporadically. Since I have moved to Grand Forks they have been to my place 3 times and internet still sucks. Not happy. Terrible company and support

Like most cities there are little or no choices for high speed internet so you have no choice but to use a cable provider. Internet speed is fast and for the most part reliable, the customer service is terrible and they just don't care about the customer. Last time I called I was on hold for 45 minutes then the guy was a total jerk.

I get crappy service with this company.... And it's expensive...

Midco isn't the absolute best provider out there, but they pretty much own this region. However though my service was top notch today. I had just purchased a new router and modem, I "rented" a $5.00 month one for 3 years. After being on hold for 40 minutes then being disconnected, started a new call and waited 30 minutes my call was answered I started setting up the new modem after giving both customer S/N, and Mac Id the call was dropped. The service tech that was working with me continued the install without me on the line, which was great. That made me give Midco 5 stars for that. The Grand Forks store was great too fast service, when taking back my old "rented" device.
