Awesome people 100% good customer service
I've been in Grand Forks for 10 years, and my three prior times at this office were great. Took my son in today to get his license and was shocked by the rude and unhelpful attitude of the woman behind the counter. She didn't even make an attempt. My son went from excited to hurt and crushed in under 3 minutes. If it is like this when we come back, I will contact her supervisor.
Get your license and drive!!! You will enjoy the freedom to be able to travel all over. Workers are knowledgeable and helpful with any and all questions.
I take pride in my ability to be respectful and nice to everyone that I encounter. However I get the unlucky fortune of dealing with the same woman each time I go to this office. And each time she is rude, off putting, sour, quick tempered, unable to explain processes, and horrible at customer service. And I watch her struggle with other customers each time I go in so I know it's not just with me. As I watch her I see her struggle to not lose it but the look and tone says otherwise… That she's boiling inside. Some people do not belong in customer service, and if you get her to help you you will see exactly who I'm talking about. If this office fired her it would go up to four or five stars because each of the other women are fantastic to deal with. If you don't like customer service get the hell out of the job. #weaklink
Pleasantly surprised... My last visits here were less than positive. - Staff were rude and short with people. - BUT NO MORE! - Went there last night so my 15 YO could get his license. - Staff was friendly - new office layout was great. - Nice waiting area, well laid out counters. - AND AGAIN Staff was awesome. - Prices are set by the state, no complaints there. - Technology (Made our appt online) worked flawlessly. - Test went well (my kid was pleased with his test person) and in and out in record time. - Far different from when I got my license a few decades ago.
