I am so very unhappy with the CARPET dept!! Long story short they over measured and the date they promised me was two weeks off. I have so much extra carpet that I can do my stairs and another room!! They told me they could have it done before Thanksgiving when I ordered it but, when the installer finally called me he said no way. 3 weeks... The guys that take your order tell you what ever you want to hear to get the sale. The also didn't tell me about some fees that I needed to pay. A couple weeks before this I went to Home Depot for my other house. They got the measurements right with just a little left. They were honest and upfront about everything.. Install, price ect... I expected the same or better from Lowe's. I called about the extra spoke with Mary she offered for me to hire them to install it on my stairs... REALLY??? Is this how you get extra money from people??? Over charge with extra carpet and then want to come install... to make more on the sale?? Then she was supposed to get back with me about all the extra but, never did. If you need carpet go somewhere else!! They will over charge you, leave you with extra and not care!
I was able to find items I was looking for. Wanted longer constrution screws, wanted heavier duty storage for those screws. Looking for sawzal type blades in bulk package in same size and or cut type. People were helpful but didn't have the products.
Made a quick visit buying a new space heater. Really helpful gentleman was very informative and patient as we decided on the unit to purchase. We ended up buying one and he helped us with a cart to get it to our vehicle.
We went through Lowes for our bathroom remodel and we were not impressed with our Lowes order guy or the communication with the contractor. We had some parts that weren't ordered that should have been; this should have been caught right away when they triple checked all our parts but wasn't. Then our order guy blamed us for this mistake when we told him from the beginning everything that we wanted done. The communication with the contractor was horrible. When they'd tell us they'd be coming to work on our bathroom they wouldn't show up that day or call to let us know. Rather we had to call to see why they weren't showing up. On top of that, our remodel went 1.5 months past when it was supposed to be done. We then had to have them come back for touch ups after they said everything was complete. When it was finally completed, everything turned out nice. There were just way too many headaches involved with this project where I would not recommend anyone to go through them for a bathroom remodel.
We ordered online and they said our order will be ready when we arrive. Our company is located an hour away. When we arrived it took them five minutes to search the computer for the order and then we were told we can shop for awhile or come back in twenty minutes because they have other orders to fill in front of us. We normally use Menards because they are awesome but we decided to try Lowes. We are now waiting in the parking lot. The order?? One sheet of plywood.
