Coffee was fine. Atmosphere was pretty relaxed. Service wasn't the best because the cashier didn't really talk to us about what was what.
Good place to come and work on homework, even with kids. Upstairs has a nice Lego table for them to plug away at while you work (or to distract yourself with). It's owned by the next door church, but nothing about being here really reminds you of that fact, which is nice.
Cozy atmosphere. Great for studying, getting coffee with friends, or just relaxing. They often have live music, and there's a little play area upstairs for kids.
The Ember is an awesome place. It is very peaceful and cozy. I go there to have coffee and work on my tablet. A lot of friends from Freedom church are there too. Good conversation.
Excellent latte! We have tried all the coffee shops now in Grand Forks and this one is the best!
